ahhhh

So so much to update on. I haven't blogged since November 27th, and boy oh boy a lot has gone on!

I finally got A's 5 year pictures done! Here are a couple of my favs! Thanks so much to Renee Massingham Photography!

This kid has personality and really makes it known during a photo shoot. She had Renee and I laughing the whole time! I highly recommend Renee! Check out reneefromdassel.com for more info on her! She has done all our family pics, or engagemen pics, and our wedding pics!

But,
Right when I was about to send these off I get a phone call from my lovely husband. He would be home in two days!! Yes I'm sure all of you knew that, but he was trying to surprise me and things were just not working right with his flights and he was thinking that coming home at 3 am and hopping into bed with me was probably not a good idea. He was right, I probably would have slugged him. So intead I got to go to the airport and pic him up! I have a pic of that, but can't find it. I'll put it up here when I find it.
Oh what a grand two weeks it was over Christmas with Joe home. Yes there were some adjustments, I definitely am a neater person when he is home. When it is just me, I could care less (minus A weekends) and I let stuff go. Sharing the bed again I think went ok. For me at least, not sure about him :) Here are some highlights of the two weeks:

• Surprising A at Preschool. Absolute my favorite memory EVER. Search http://www.kstp.com/ and search for a video.
• Surprising my Sister-in-law Sara at supper one night.
• Attempting to surprise my family and Joe's parents (being "tv starts" as some have said gave that one away to many)
• Christmas Shopping
• Extra long vacation for me!
• Talking to one of my 3rd grade classes. The had so many questions!
• Going on dates!
• Spending a whole week with A!
• Road trip to Breck to see Taton and the gang!
• Spending time in the cities the day before he left. Yay hotel right by MOA!!
• Joe letting me shop for a new wardrobe for him! (yes, I LOVED it) I may not have a great sense of style, but it was sure fun. And no, I did not buy him a jersey lol hahahaha
• Eating at the CheeseCake Factory with Eric and Sarah! Yum Yum Yum

My least favorite thing:

• The airport at the end.......
• Diet going COMPLETELY out the window for about 3 weeks....but it was SOOOOOOO worth it!

I think I have gotten through the adjustment back to being "single" again. It definitely has helped to be back with my kiddos and colleagues at work. I am so blessed to have an amazing 'Waska family. Sooo supportive!

So now back to my crazy schedule with two jobs and weekends with A and the diet. Time will go by sooo fast. though!
